Getting There
Air Nearest airport: Bhuntar (32 km/ 1 hr;). Taxi charges Rs 800 to Naggar
Rail Nearest railhead: Chandigarh (301 km/ 7 hrs). Taxi to Naggar charges Rs 4,000 approx
Road Naggar is just 7 km off the Chandigarh-Manali NH21. From Delhi, drive to Chandigarh via Karnal and Ambala. From Chandigarh, catch NH21 till Katrain via Kurali, Rupnagar. Kiratpur, Swarghat, Bilaspur, Ghaghas, Sundernagar, Mandi, Pandoh, Aut, Bhuntar, Kullu and Raison. At Katrain, continue 2 km down NH21 till Patlikuhl and turn right across the Beas to Naggar, 5 km away. From Shimla, take NH88 to Ghaghas via Jatogh, Darlaghat and Brahmpukhar, where you join the NH21 route to Patlikuhl. Buses to Manali from Delhi, Shimla and Dharamsala will drop you off at Patlikuhl, 23 km ahead of Kullu and 17 km short of Manali. At Patlikuhl, you can get a local bus which goes via Naggar (fare Rs 15) or an auto (Rs 70) or taxi (Rs 150)
